Welcome to Wavelength app (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application ("App"). By using Wavelength App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.


  1. Eligibility and Use of the App

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Wavelength reserves the right to request proof of age at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts where age requirements are not met.

  • You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

  • You may only maintain one account. Accounts cannot be shared with or transferred to other people.


  1. AI Powered features

Wavelength uses an AI-powered conversational agent called Wave to help you explore your personality, preferences, and compatibility with other users. Wave is a core part of the Wavelength experience.


By using Wave or any other AI-powered feature in the App, you understand and agree to the following:


How it works. When you interact with Wave, the content of your conversations (including your responses, preferences, and other inputs) is sent to third-party AI service providers for processing. This is necessary to generate responses and to power our matchmaking algorithms. We do not send your name, phone number, email address, or photos to these AI providers.


Not a human, not a professional. Wave is an artificial intelligence system, not a human being. Wave is not a licensed matchmaker, therapist, counselor, or any other professional. Any suggestions, insights, or observations provided by Wave are for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be treated as professional advice of any kind.


Accuracy. Because Wave uses AI to communicate with you, it may occasionally provide responses that are inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Wavelength is not liable for any decisions you make based on information provided by Wave.


Consent to data processing. By using Wave, you consent to your conversation data being processed by our third-party AI service providers as described in our Privacy Policy.


  1. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software on Wavelength app are the property of Wavelength or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.


  1. User Content and community standards


Wavelength allows you to create a profile, upload photos, and interact with other users and with Wave. You retain ownership of any content you create. By posting content on Wavelength, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within and in connection with the App.


Zero-tolerance policy. Wavelength has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. By using the App, you agree that you will not post, share, or transmit any content that:


  • Is abusive, harassing, threatening, intimidating, or bullying toward any person

  • Promotes or incites violence or hatred against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic

  • Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or pornography

  • Promotes illegal activities or substances

  • Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading, including the use of fake profiles or impersonation of another person

  • Exploits or endangers minors in any way

  • Constitutes spam, solicitation, or commercial promotion

  • Infringes on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others

  • Contains malware, viruses, or any other harmful software


Content moderation. Wavelength actively monitors and moderates user content. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we consider objectionable, harmful, or inappropriate, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.


Reporting. If you encounter content or behavior that violates these standards, you can report it directly within the App or by emailing jayanth@heywavelength.com. All reports are reviewed and appropriate action will be taken, which may include warnings, content removal, account suspension, or permanent bans.


Blocking. You can block any user within the App at any time. Blocked users will not be able to view your profile or contact you.


Enforcement. Wavelength reserves the right to investigate violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including but not limited to removing content, issuing warnings, suspending accounts temporarily, permanently banning users, and reporting illegal activity to law enforcement authorities.


  1. Safety


Wavelength does not conduct criminal background checks or identity verification on users beyond what is described in these Terms. While we work to create a safe environment within the App, we cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, or behaviour of any user.


When meeting someone in person that you connected with through Wavelength:

  • Meet in a public place for your first few meetings

  • Tell a friend or family member where you are going and who you are meeting

  • Arrange your own transportation to and from the meeting

  • Keep your phone charged and accessible

  • Trust your instincts. If something feels off, leave

  • Never share financial information or send money to someone you have met through the App.


If you experience any behaviour that makes you feel unsafe, whether on or off the App, please report it to us at jayanth@heywavelength.com and contact local authorities if appropriate.


5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.


6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wavelength shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
